Field Biologist/Consulting Utility Forester, Mountain G Enterprises (2018-2020)
PG&E Enhanced Vegetation Managment (EVM), Accelerated Wildfire Risk Reduction (AWRR), and ‘Routine’ Programs. Extensive skills with ArcCollector, ArcDesktop. Contracted under PG&E to identify trees along power lines, contact property owners, handle escalations and complaints; moving land owners towards compliance. Worked with tree crews and performed quality control in several counties of the Coast Range and Sierra.
Pacificorp Delta Fire. Planned—in collaboration with Mountain F Enterprises—the scope and initiation of tree removal along transmission and distributions power lines in Shasta County. Indentified and marked trees, collected data, tracked progress, and produced daily reports.
PG&E Community Pipeline Safety Initiative (CPSI). In Napa, Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, duties included initial recon, survey and marking, ground-truthing GIS data, property owner contact and negotiation, safety meeting with staff and tree crews, supervising tree crews, final data collection and reporting.
Placer County Tree Mortality (PCTM) Program. Surveyed plants (and animals) in previously identified zones of Placer County using GIS. Researched and produced handout materials for staff.
